1. Controller

Represented by Szabó Szilárd, managing director. Tradewise Global is not required to appoint a data protection officer; privacy questions can be sent to the email above.
This notice is based on Regulation (EU) 2016/679 (GDPR) and Hungarian Act CXII of 2011 on informational self-determination and freedom of information. The Hungarian version prevails.
2. What data we process, why, and on what legal basis
- Contact form, call-back: name, email, phone, country of residence (optional), area of interest, preferred contact method, message. Purpose: answering your question and arranging an information call. Legal basis: your consent (GDPR Art. 6(1)(a)).
- Report request: name, email, phone. Purpose: sending the latest reports and calling back if you have a question. Legal basis: consent.
- Webinar registration: name, email, phone (optional), area of interest. Purpose: sending the invitation, joining link and reminder. Legal basis: consent.
- Mauritius VCC update list: name, email, phone, investor type (optional). Purpose: informing you of material development steps. Legal basis: consent.
- All forms: submission time, page address, language and the fact of consent. Purpose: proving consent. Legal basis: legitimate interest (Art. 6(1)(f)) and legal obligation (Art. 7(1)).
- Technical data: IP address, browser and device data, timestamps and security logs processed by the hosting provider to run and protect the Website. Legal basis: legitimate interest (Website security).
Providing data is voluntary, but without it we cannot fulfil your request. We carry out no investment due diligence, anti-money-laundering identification or suitability assessment and do not request such data.
3. How long we keep data
- Enquiries and report requests: up to 2 years from the last contact, or until consent is withdrawn if earlier.
- Webinar and VCC update lists: until you unsubscribe or withdraw consent.
- Records proving consent: 5 years after processing ends (general limitation period).
- Technical logs: per the hosting provider's rules, typically a few days.
Withdrawing consent does not affect the lawfulness of processing before withdrawal.
4. Who can access the data (processors, recipients)
Only authorised staff of Tradewise Global can access the data. We use the following processors:
- Cloudflare, Inc. (USA) – hosting, content delivery, security;
- FormSubmit (formsubmit.co) – forwarding form submissions by email;
- Google Ireland Ltd. (Gmail) – receiving and answering enquiries;
- Cal.com, Inc. (USA) – if you book a time in the calendar, Cal.com processes the booking data under its own privacy notice.
Transfer to Tradewise Elite: we pass your data to Tradewise Elite Investments LLC (Dubai) or any other provider only if you explicitly ask us to (for example because you want to contact them directly). As the UAE is a third country, this transfer is based on your explicit consent (GDPR Art. 49(1)(a)); we will inform you beforehand. We never sell personal data.
5. Transfers outside the EEA
Some processors (Cloudflare, Cal.com, FormSubmit) may process data in the United States. Such transfers rely on certification under the EU–US Data Privacy Framework or, failing that, on the European Commission's Standard Contractual Clauses (SCCs).
6. Security
We receive data over encrypted (HTTPS) connections, restrict access to accounts protected by password and two-factor authentication, and keep data only as long as needed.
7. Your rights
You may at any time request:
- information about and access to your personal data (GDPR Art. 15);
- rectification (Art. 16);
- erasure (Art. 17);
- restriction of processing (Art. 18);
- data portability (Art. 20);
- you may object to processing based on legitimate interest (Art. 21);
- you may withdraw consent at any time without giving reasons (Art. 7(3)) and unsubscribe from any of our emails.

You may also go to court, including the regional court of your place of residence or stay.
8. Minors
The Website is not intended for persons under 18. We do not knowingly process data of persons under 16 and delete such data if we become aware of it.
